Summer Fete - 14th July 2007
A lovely sunny day turned out to be an extra bonus for our fete this year which opened at 1.00 o'clock in the afternoon.
The hall was filled with a variety of stalls including homemade cakes, white elephant, china, books, raffle and a children's activities table which gave their parents a chance to walk around and grab a bargain while their little ones were more than happy. The tea tables provided a welcome cup of tea or coffee and a chance to chat (and try a newly bought delicious cake!)
Outside of the hall you could find a nice plant, grab a tasty burger or have a traditional go at winning a coconut.
A truly interesting new addition this year was the Bell Ringing 'Mini Ring' which Chris Trafford kindly brought along and which proved very popular - it may even have sown the seed for new bell ringers of the future? J
